There is a rampant cis-het white male intellectual superiority complex that believes every thought it has belongs in a peer-reviewed journal.

For those of us who aren't in their demographic, it is a waste of time and energy to try to engage or educate it. It is vampiric and it will do everything it can to manipulate you into opening your veins for its narcissism.

The only cure is to raise the next generation to stifle it - in themselves and amongst themselves. For now (unless you're a good cis-het dude whose responsibility it is to interrupt this behavior), just ignore it as best you can and use your power for worthwhile, winnable things.
